No, Eden. It's the Nova Scotia Lobster Casserole. Delicious, had it twice when I was on Beyond in January.

You are right on. We had the Eden Lobster Casserole twice on our cruise and it was outstanding.  The three most popular items on their menu are the Blue Crab Crabcake appetizer,  the Nova Scotia Lobster Casserole, and the Filet Mignon/Beef Wellington entrees.

BTW can we get some Carnival lobstah pics?

On my last Carnival cruise (Jan 23, a 14 day cruise) lobster was served twice in the MDR. On the second night I combined with prime rib.

I find it ironic that Carnival NOW has better MDR cuts than Celebrity.

I like their prime rib, but shoe leather is better than their standard strip steak. I have found a steady decline in the quality of steak on Celebrity, too

A CC regular said a month ago that he spoke to the Retreat manager about his dissatisfaction of the steak and they said there's a different and presumable cheaper beef supplier for all restaurants expect for specialties

First, SORRY to ask a lobster question...but

I just saw a YouTube video about the recent changes to Celebrity since Jan 1.  As for the upcharge for an additional lobster tail, the passengers in the video said that if you dine in Blu and/or Luminae, there is no upcharge for an additional tail.  Is that true?

thanks!

That is true. On the Reflection this year in Blu I ordered lobster and the waiter brought two as he said, "because they are so small."

Also on another cruise on Beyond this year in Luminae I only had one lobster but could order another at no charge.

So which one was smuggled onboard which ship for the comparison shot?

The one that Looks larger was just held closer to the Camera. If it was On the grill the person holding it would have badly burned Hands?

Now  the Point may very well be true!

I'll never know becasue my Wife will never sail on Viking because they do not have Casinos.

I thought the regular lobster in the MDR on Infinity was fine. I didn't think asking $16.99 + 18% for additional lobsters was reasonable.

My wife wanted a steak on Lobster night so I had her order Both the steak & the lobster and I just ate both  her's & Mine. Problem solved and No extra $16.99 + 18%.

Also you can get an extra lobster tail at a Specialty restaurant like Murano without an extra charge.

Murano Lobster is also Cooked on a gas burner in a pan on  trolly Right at your Table and is Delicious. 🙂

My wife does not cook or eat lamb nor will she let me cooking inside the house.  She says it 'smells like meat."  DUH -- so I eat lamb almost every time it is offered when we cruise.

Wow! Thought my DW was the ‘only’ one with a lamb aversion. Rack of lamb…yummy!

Did Celebrity ever fix their lobster issue?  Asking for a friend 🙂 🙂

IMO, lobster on our March Apex cruise was excellent. Cooked perfectly. Size seemed to be what we always get from Celebrity. Asked for the drawn butter be poured in a small bowl. We rather add our own. The lobster doesn't need to be swimming in the drawn butter.
