We will be booking a round trip from Seattle Alaskan cruise on Norwegian Bliss. Are the views better from a balcony room located on the PORT or STARBOARD side?

Define "better".  Do you want ocean views, land views?

From the itinerary map it looks like the starboard side will have land views for the majority of the cruise, while port has land views out and ocean views coming back. But the difference is very marginal, IMO

Think about it…

Round trip

Distance from shore while underway

360 degree spins at glaciers

Pier tie up depends on traffic

…which side you’re on is irrelevant.

Totally disagree with the last post.  Pick starboard.  I've been to and from those ports many times and I always think the starboard view is better, especially approaching Juneau and in Endicott Arm.  I say Endicott Arm because there is a hanging glacier called Somdum Glacier near the entrance.  Port side will pass it too early in the morning, but you'll get a nice view of it from starboard as you're leaving.

Don't worry about that first and last sea day.  You'll be too far offshore for it to matter.
