Something tells that free cruises brings  out EVERYBODY, not one particular C&A group.

correct, but those that cruise often enough to be pinnacle are also more likely to be available/willing to jump on a free cruise-(retired, can easily get off work, can drive to port and not have to book flights, etc)

I can't wait until next year when I'm retired...I've had to ignore several offers I received this year.

Absolutely agree...my point was that I think Royal screwed up sending out offers for free cruises on some of the most popular ships during one of the busiest most high demand, expensive months on the year....during spring break. Not complaining...just thought it was odd.

I have not seen much of casino offers on oasis ships.  A few here or there,  none on wonder.  We used one of our two free annual prime cruise offers and this was the first week you could(due to ship being one year old).  I hear a ton of others did the same.  Did royal screw up?  Well that depends how much we all leave in the casino.  I watch people pump machines with many thousands of dollars and lose thousands at a table every cruise.  I am sure it makes sense or they wouldnt do it.  Cruise lines are very good at running a tight ship.

I was on Apex for Christmas 22', and they only had "1" Zenith couple on the whole vessel.  By the end of the year, Celebrity was adding another "7" Zeniths, to the grand total of "87" fleet wide!  So your ship, had more than double, the total Pinnacles to Zenith's, in Celebrity's entire program.

You were given incorrect information. Although the amount of zeniths is a “closely guarded secret” there are many more than that with new zeniths being added daily. Ten years ago there were around 400 to 500 so the numbers now should be well over 1000. Still, it’s only a fraction compared to the number of pinnacles.

The blog I read said this same ship also was oversold last dec. 2nd time for this ship.

I can see them targeting locals as it would be easier to do the 6 day if you werent flying. .. but rcl works in mysterious ways. I checked cruisefare for wonder out of port Canaveral and just the cruisefare started over 2k before taxes and fees .. and up. Couldnt book in my time frame under 2k starting prices.

I agree that locals often have the easiest time reshuffling their plans.  On the other hand, a cruiseline cannot know everyone’s circumstances.  A family in TN planning to drive to port May have just had a recent financial setback; getting a full refund offer right might feel like a godsend.  A family in MI might have a second home in FL, so they could accept the offer and still use their flights.  Thus I can image the cruiseline sending the email offer to people with various addresses; after reading the offer they can volunteer or decline.

The ones that made zenith on that cruise?  That was my parents lol.  Didn't realize there were so few zenith members.

Actually, now that I think about it, they were on the new years cruise.  So I guess they were one of the 7.

Congrats, I saw them at the Captains Party, sat right behind them.  They were going back-to-back, on the New Year's cruise.

Yes!  There are/were plenty of casino promo offerings for Oasis and Quantum class ships - 18N TP (Sydney-Hawaii), 14N Symphony TA (Mar 9th), many other Allure, Oasis, Harmony, Odyssey & Quantum itineraries. Balcony & JS cabins offerings too.

We got the phone call yesterday and made the switch from Harmony to Explorer. New cabin is spacious oceanview on deck 8. Docs have already been reissued and the app has been updated with the new cruise. Only issue right now is the OBC is not correct - way too much. Put a call in to see if we can get that clarified.

Not everyone who can cruise often enough to be Pinnacle can jump on a free cruise.  Many still work, don't live in Florida, have other interests/obligations, have to book flights/pre cruise hotels,  etc.

Welcome aboard.   I was wondering did you have any planner items booked and did they transfer?  I'm curious if they make you rebook everything? It would suck if say you had a Cabana booked on Perfect day at a good price.

Someone said the offer for Wonder next week was targeted and not everyone was sent the offer. And that locals could benefit from this offer without having to consider things like air travel etc.

Anyone not "local" get the offer?

Makes sense, as those of us listed with a Florida address may be sent the option first. I would love this chance, not likely though.

Nothing that was already booked transfers over. You need to rebook everything, so this might be a consideration for some as to whether they accept the offer. The only thing we had booked was internet. They refund that and any other items purchased ahead of time to the method of payment. I had to rebuy it at today's price. It was maybe a dollar or two a day more - no big deal. All of our check in information was already on the web when I went to check us in. Was even able to get the same boarding time as we had on Harmony.
