We got our cruise documents yesterday!  Our very first Regent cruise is fast approaching, and what should the mailman bring us yesterday but a package containing our cruise documents!!!  DH's initial response was, "What is all this?" 🤣 We went through them together, and both agreed that it was so nice to receive written documents and not have to print out so much of this on our own.  Now, when it is presented nicely, with a little bit of style?  Even more points to Regent.  This is telling us something about how Regent does things, and so far, we like it.

What to wear, what to wear?  Don't forget the bathing suit, pack a nice dress (or five 😆) for dinners, make sure to make a hair appointment (or three) at the spa, make time to explore the library and the observation lounge . . . Oh how I love a transatlantic cruise!

In the UK we are lucky to get the bag tags for the suites in the post 😂😂😂

It is such a shame that Regent(UK) opted to abandon this little touch of pre cruise luxury, that set them apart from other cruise lines 🙁

Oh so very true - blank luggage labels in an envelope do not paint a picture of a 6 star product.

Received our 6 plain luggage tags today in an envelope with full details of our on board accommodation on the outside of the envelope just below our address, no details on luggage tags!!

We have done at least 6 cruises with Regent since reaching Platinum level but still have yet to receive our leather luggage tags

No leather here either. Almost platinum but still the plastic/paper ones.

This is a cut above Cunard where we have to print, fold and staple, even tho we’ve always done grill class!

Be happy with what you got!!

If you are using a TA check with them about your luggage tags.  They come with your documents from/through your TA.  If you have not received leather Platinum luggage tags have them check with Regent.  I am told you get a new set of tags when you reach a new level from Platinum on.

But they're more than happy to spend thousands on continuous mail outs of promotional offers and forthcoming itineraries which land on my door mat far too often (despite requests to cancel). I'd be more than happy with a basic wallet - cardboard if they like but just something that gives it a sense of occasion. I know this is discussed ad nauseum but it really grates. Rant over.
