We are looking for your favorite tour company in Italy. Need a good tour company to book a gondola ride in Venice as well as a tour of the Amalfi Coast. Please help!!

The short answer for a gondola right is that there is no need to pre-book anything. Gondolas awaiting hire tend to congregate near various tourist areas. There is no negotiation -- it's a fixed price for a certain amount of time. Pick one that looks good and off you go.

The price is 80 euros for 30 minutes. It goes up to 100 euros after 7 pm.

Thank you Marazul for the info. I have a question. It has been so long since I've been on cruise critic. How do I start a roll call (I believe that's what you call it) to have other cruisers on my specific ship and date of travel to talk? I looked for Viking Star, May15,2023 but found nothing.
