Yes, I out it for it last Tuesday and received notice that it was granted on Thursday. It is a casino deal with $750 OBC for March 2024 on the Jubilee.
heidiatmn1 Posted March 13, 2023 #8 Share Posted March 13, 2023 I failed on 3/10-dissapointing as we have another room as well for the kids...will attempt it on my hubbys name I guess. Thank you for submitting your shareholder brokerage statement. Regrettably, we are unable to process your request to apply the shareholder benefit with the referenced reservation. In accordance with the terms of the shareholder onboard credit benefit, reservations with a reduced rate promotion do not qualify for the onboard credit. While it may have been inadvertently accepted in the past, we are now adhering to the conditions of the shareholder program. We sincerely apologize for any disappointment this has caused and trust, that as a Carnival investor, you will understand our position in this matter. Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to welcoming you on board!

Rare 1kaper Posted March 14, 2023 #10 Share Posted March 14, 2023 We sailed in November on a "free" room ($100 pp, with $100 OBC and freeplay) casino deal. I submitted it and was denied. It took awhile, over a month I think. My husband re-submitted and was approved.

d-lite-n-cruisin Posted March 14, 2023 #12 Share Posted March 14, 2023 Trying again this morning for the 2nd time. We don't sail until September so I have time. But I received the same response as posted above. Maybe this 2nd time will be the charm. We are doing a 15 day Journeys cruise from NYC on the Venezia so $250 would be nice! mz-s Posted March 14, 2023 #14 Share Posted March 14, 2023 (edited) The thing is how far do they want to take the "reduced rate promotion" aspect. Even early saver could be seen as a reduced rate promotion if they really wanted to interpret it that way. But that would make the program absolutely meaningless because nobody pays brochure rates. Where is their line? I guess it just drives home the fact that nobody should buy stocks just for a perk that could be rescinded or re-interpreted at any time. d-lite-n-cruisin Posted March 14, 2023 #15 Share Posted March 14, 2023 You are correct with this point. I only have 100 shares for this benefit. And I really didn't think it could get much lower than when I bought it. However, if I cannot get the $100 or $500 off my cruise I may just sell them and take my $300 profit and treat it as getting the benefit 3 times. But I really want the $500 on the long cruise.😁

I doubt most are cruising under casino rates, and they aren't nobody. The actually shareholder credit has never been suspended and is easier to obtain than on other cruise lines like Royal.

The fact that I only owned CCL stock might have something to do with it.🤪

halterk Posted March 16, 2023 #22 Share Posted March 16, 2023 Just a data point for reference: I submitted my shareholder claim on 3/13 (at night time) and was approved on 3/15 for my November cruise. So claims are being handled very quickly at the moment.
