Does Blue Chip hold rooms

Hello,

We are boarding the Beyond sunday, my sister/brother in law still haven't reserved a room but they said blue ship is holding a room for them in case they want to go.  I cannot believe they holding a room for them when you think they want to make money.  She goes on the Beyond twice a month but I have doubts that a room be held for them just days before, and the fact she may not go, any thoughts?

She might have a reservation but they're definitely not keeping blocks of rooms exclusively for BCC. Also, we're getting close to the cut-off where you can't book anything anymore as the cruise line is finalizing the manifest. There are 36-48 hrs tops to get this sorted at this point.

She might have booked a cabin and paid the port charges and taxes, which are refundable if they do not go.

That could be, she still doesn't tell me whether she is going or not, but I hoping not lol.

I believe they can cancel up to 48 hours in advance and get their taxes and port charges reimbursed.

TBH you can be a no show and you'll still get Port charges and fees refunded with no penalties on a fully comped cruise.

OOO that is what she must know, she has some health issues right now the reason why I say she needs to stay home and make her doctors appointments.   Thank you for that info!
