We haven't sailed on Celebrity since covid and are wondering how much has changed? Previously we enjoyed the wine selection offered by the glass, especially in the MDR, specialty restaurants and Cellar Masters where there was always a sommelier to offer wine and, once they had a sense of your tastes they would present us with something  special not on the usual list. Still the case? Also, are they now allowing guests to simply pay the difference in price if you order something above and beyond your drinks package?

As a sidebar, we just finished our first HAL voyage and the wine was a HUGE disappointment; also no sommelier in the dining rooms. Other seasoned HAL cruisers told us pre-Covid the wine selection was much better and there was always a sommelier present in the dining rooms, which is why I am wondering about Celebrity.

If we have the classic beverage package is the tip already included in our daily fee?

Yes, but because the individual serving us the wine only gets a small share, if they do a good job, we tip extra.  The exception would be a dedicated sommelier, who we normally tip at the end of the cruise.

The selection of available wines can vary by ship to ship and sailing to sailing.  In our experience the supply chain issues that were occurring in the summer & fall of 2022 are much improved.   On every sailing we have been on, pre & post covid some wines or liquors can run out.  Some aren't available of the 1st night and the ship was just restocked and all the wines and liquors have not be unpacked and distributed.

There have been sommliers in the dining rooms and restaurants on every sailing we have been on since the restart.

@Cruisedreamer1 the tip and beverages is included with the beverage package.  Daily grauities are for you cabin attendant, wait staff and other housekeeping and dining staff.
