Oasis - Current Shows Onboard

Hi, my friends and I are cruising on Oasis in May.  Does anyone have information on current entertainment and shows?  Any info would be appreciated.  Thanks!  🙂

Main shows are Cats and Aqua 80.  Most people hate Cats and a lot of people will walk out in the middle of it.  Its actually very well done but the story line is almost impossible to follow.  Aqua 80 is amazing.  It will get cancelled if the weather is not great so try to go early in the cruise so you can try again later if it gets cancelled.  It only takes a little bit of wind to cancel the show.  There is also a cute show on the Promenade with the entertainment crew that is boat themed.  Each crew has their own theme and they push the boat around the circle and dance.  If you don't like cheesy, you will probably want to skip it. 

 

As for the rest of the entertainment, the actual performers change but there will be a cover band in the Music Hall just about every night, a sing along piano player in the Schooner Bar, a singer/guitarist in the English pub and a Latin band in Boleros.

I missed the ice skating show because we didn't have time and missed it.  It was themed to story tales and looked fun.

Don't forget the ice show and comedy club. I agree about Cats, I had a great afternoon nap watching it.

That is way overblown. No one in the lower section of the show I went to left last week.

 

Theater was 3/4 full and the standby line was packed

Cats is fantastic... Read the libretto before you board.  It makes it better.

what week in may are you going? we were very disappointed last year going the 1st week out of NJ because we were unaware they change aqua cast then. they practiced all week and then put on a mini show end of the week. 

 

this time i booked 3rd week of may to avoid that issue. and to avoid missing any shows, got an aqua suite.

the cruise compasses are on another website with the name of the cruise line followed by the word blog    There are recent sailing compasses for all the ships including Oasis.
