Solstice class OceanView Forward Cabins

The forward OV cabins have a view of the ship's helicopter pad, bow, and the scenery in front of the ship.  We have had the FV cabins right next to them and when I have glanced inside the OV cabins, they seem very large.

Here is the view through our Deck 8 forward (and slanted) cabin window on Solstice to give you an idea of what your view may look like:

These rooms can be very rough and even sometimes noisy because you often hear the lines being lowered and raised as the ship approaches and leaves the dock.  If you are an early riser that probably won’t matter but if you’d like to sleep in, it can be hard to ignore. On the other hand  the view can be amazing.  Here’s a night time medical evacuation … the patient going up to a waiting helicopter
