Entertainment and activities on Beyond

We are thinking of sailing on the Beyond in March ,2024. We have not been on a Celebrity ship for many years so we are interested in knowing what type of nightly entertainment is available...shows ,music, themes. We have heard that Celebrity cruises are more sedate and a little boring compared to other cruise lines including Royal Caribbean. We are not looking for a Carnival type atmosphere but do like to have nightly evening offerings of different forms of shows, performances etc.

Was on the Beyond last September.

Plenty of entertainment available. The main theater has a variety of different shows that are exceptional in quality. The giant screen combined with the stage that has multiple moving platforms make it even more interesting. There was almost always entertainment in the atrium and most of the bars. We never lacked for anything to do and it was not the snoozy type of entertainment you would expect from a more "mature" line. We are in our mid-50's and were always entertained.

Our cruise in November 2021 was with HAL. You want to talk about boring. That was an extremely boring cruise.

There are usually a vocalist/guitar/piano player, a group like a 4 person strings instrumental on our last cruise, always the singer and dancers from the main theater.  And of course a couple touring people that could be comedy, jugglers/aerialists, singers, tribute bands etc.

Always from late afternoon going at at least 2 venues. With lectures held often in the enrichment program and various standard trivia etc.

Impossible to do it all

We cruise rccl a lot and was extremely happy with entertainment on beyond 6 months ago , main stage shows were great and talented small groups or solo playing in either Eden or by martini bar starting in the afternoon.

One of the best ways to find out what is going on on a ship is to read the ‘Live from..’ threads.  There is one currently on the first page by GenerationX called Beyond LIVE Solo Retreat review.  EM

We were on the Beyond for her January 29, 2023 sailing. I did a live review and included the daily Celebrity Today activities sheets:

I am also on the current sailing and tossing a few comments in @GenerationX live review. In a nutshell, plenty to do—- shows, music, trivia, game shows, etc.

If you have any specific questions I’d be glad to try and answer them.
