OBC and cruise planner cancellations

Hi there have been so many changes to policies recently I feel kind of lost.  If you book a cruise excursion in the cruise planner using your OBC is it still the case that you can cancel pre sailing. The OBC is then refunded back into the cruise planner, or is that not the way it is now?

No change.  Almost all the policy changes involve Covid.  

 

A canceled excursion before sailing is credited back to your method of payment.  Pay with OBC then goes back to OBC.   Same with credit card.

OBC goes back as OBC and shows up within minutes so you can spend it on something else 😉

I did this just a few weeks ago and can confirm what the other replies have said - OBC refunds were immediate. I was able to use the OBC within minutes for another reservation.
