How to cancel a dining reservation

Hi All,

I need to cancel one of my dining reservations, but can't seem to find functionality on the website to do so.

Do I need to call to cancel?

try going into your planner and see if there is a button.  If not then call.

You need to contact NCL to cancel anything. Some people have reported success doing this via chat on the website, but others have been unable to get help by chat to cancel reservations. 

The best bet is to make a phone call to NCL.

You can cancel once onboard too.

dont worry about it, it's not very complicated. just wait until you get in your cabin, pick up the phone, dial reservations, and tell them you're cancelling. as far as i know there is no penalty for a  no show even if you didnt give cancellation notice, and, i understand that if you dont show up within 15 minutes of your reservation time, it gets cancelled automatically.

I cancelled mine through the Haven Concierge.

You could go by where they're making reservations on embarkation day or  you could go by the restaurant.

On board, you can cancel through your cabin’s interactive  TV.  Before sailing, I call my PCC, who promptly takes care of it.

Not a problem for you but you're holding a time slot that someone else may want.

Cancelling the reservation is the polite thing to do.

I canceled some my dining reservations when I got onboard.  I also just walked up to the specialty dining room I was interested in that night and asked if they had room.  I was never turned down ( but I eat round 6pm, so being early might have to do with it).

I've had very good success canceling dining reservations using the chat function on the NCL website.
