I have the same question.  I’ve heard here and on the Face Place that they will notify people on Monday.  I didn’t hear that directly.  At the moment I have a case number.  It’s very frustrating.  But Monday will come quickly.

I submitted mine today too and got a case # and an email that said I’d hear back within 72 hours. I was actually surprised when I called w/a question that a got a rep on the phone in 5 minutes! Since it’s a new sailing (the Barcelona to Rome SL) I wanted to get my request in before it was open to the public.

What did the say ? You need to wait until Monday and call them again or only via this form ?

You only need to submit the form. The forms will be processed on Monday in the order in which they were received. Once you're on the ship, your TA can look at the cabin situation and reposition you on the ship if desired.

They cannot do any bookings or 'move requests up' via phone. They are literally going to be handled in the order in which they were received. They have an entire team ready to go starting Monday to work through the requests as quickly as possible. You will receive the booking notifications as your requests are turned into bookings. Then if you want to change your cabin position, your TA can go into your booking and reposition you based on availability so long as you originally booked with a TA.  All new bookings are automatically being assigned to the same TA as the original booking.

Has anyone been able to receive confirmation that their cruise has been rebooked? I was told on the phone it will happen on Monday. Is this the same you have heard?

It will not be rebooked until Monday morning at the earliest. It's actually in the email right above the "Offer Request Form" button that "Starting September 11...." the rebookings will begin.

That’s good . I was afraid that people call in and try to do it before Monday.

People are calling in but essentially the Sailor Services are filling out the same form and they get 'added to the pile.'  Nobody who is calling in is actually getting a booking. They might be told they are getting a 'booking number' but absolutely nothing is booked or confirmed until Monday.

I was calling to ask what it would cost to add my husband to the reservation (full fare…so going solo🙂).

As for the rebooking, I just submitted that online (printed myself a copy first) and got an email back right away:

“We’re on it.

Your request has been received.

We’ve received your request (Case #………..) and our team is diligently working on it now. We’ll be in touch within the next 7 days with more information — so don’t worry, you’ll be hearing directly from us soon.

Booking Number: #………”

Good Morning!

I am not sure what is happening over the weekend, but I did call on Thursday evening and have a confirmed booking.Screenshot_20230909-082953_Email.thumb.jpg.3ebdf5be657c8ac329dcd0f7d17d0299.jpg

Congratulations.  You’re the first one I’ve seen that has gotten a confirmed re-booking.  When did you get this?  What was your cancelled cruise and which one did you switch to?  Maybe there is hope that they will start processing some of these before Monday.

It looks like they do this but not for cruises which will be released on Monday . It is the second I read about . The other one was also an already released one .

Thanks.  I’m trying to get on an existing sailing, so maybe I will hear something this weekend.  😃

We may have waited too long to change.  When we got our cancellation notice Thursday, our TA said we could have had the same cabin on the Scarlet Lady, but we did not have a chance to talk amongst ourselves until Thursday night.  TA was off Friday, so I called VV and our cabin category was unavailable.  I am hoping that the TA can do something.  THer rumored itineraries published on VV insider do not work for us.  SO, we will see what happens Monday.  We may end up taking a refund if we cannot get a good itinerary value.

Apologies if this has already been asked here, but has anyone gotten any further clarity regarding what is covered under the travel reimbursement? Will it cover the increased cost of fare to change the flights we had already booked for our now canceled cruise? This language on the form does not seem clear to me.

Via phone this morning, I was also able to get a confirmed booking number, including an assigned cabin number in the confirmation email. I'm doing a one cat downgrade in cabin category on an already posted itinerary. She said the only thing I'm waiting on is the team to call me next week with the refund amount I'll be receiving or an option to upgrade the cabin. Moving from a 6 night to a 14 night.

This is because you booked a currently available sailing. For those trying to book a future cruise that's not been released, you have to wait till Monday. And actually ALL rebookings were supposed to have waited until Monday. They are dropping the ball at VV.

The two articles are conflicting.  the first says the VL will go on the April TA cruise, the second seems to say it VL will stay in the Caribbean.  Ugh.

April 2024 TA is Scarlet Lady....I'm booked on it.  She is returning to the Med  for cruises and a dry dock.

I called on Thursday when I saw the cancellation of the Dec 24th sailing. Switched to Valiant Dec 24th. As of Thursday there were between 300-400 Sea Terrace available (I specifically have Central).

Thanks.  I also called immediately upon receiving the email and filled out the form while I was on the phone with Sailor Services.  Mine is a little more complicated because it’s a casino booking and I’ve been bounced back and forth a bit.  I talked to the casino department today and he assured me that they are simply working through the volumes of requests, even this weekend, but there’s little doubt that our request will go through.  He said there are hundreds of Sea Terraces available for the sailing we want - VL New Years sailing leaving December 30.

Did the casino department confirm that comped casino rebookings would receive the same sailor loot bonus offers?

I'm in the same situation.
