$8 charge for an extra dining night at Chibang/Cucina/pig and Anchor?

Whambulance time. It is currently on MG only. Why not give others a try at it and if you want to eat there more than once, pay the $8. I don't know why people are up in arms about it.

Carnival serves the stockholders, that is who they report to, not the customer contrary to popular belief. Yes, they have a product to sell, but there are Multi-$B investors pressuring the Board and Execs to return the stock price. And if you don't think these big hedge funds don't have people scouring through the financials, identifying where $Ms can be made and saved, bringing them at stockholder meetings or meetings at Augusta with Board members, you are crazy.

I just noticed when looking at the Jubilee that it also had Guys Pig and Anchor listed as an "Additional Cost" restaurant.  Wonder what is going on there.

Listed as additional cost on Celebration and MG as well.  It is still complimentary.

100% agree.  Not sure why some folks are making drama about it.  Eating in there once for dinner is plenty.  A lot of options onboard plus you can have lunch in there.

Please mention the Mexican side. Going on Celebration this weekend and I’d really like to know.😊

Didn't like it for dinner but I did like the lunch bowl. But I liked the Asian lunch bowl even more.

The main thing I liked about Chibang dinner is my room is always in the front of the ship and it's really convenient. Most of the dining is pretty much in the back of the ship.

il capitano s signature dish
Each Cucina Del Capitano also features a signature entrée
inspired by the Captain’s treasured family recipe that’s been
handled down for generations. And while each dish is different,
rest assured it’s a mouth-watering Italian classic that we are sure
your family will enjoy!

And on the Horizon, it was Chef Boyardee.  I don't remember the description, but it looked and tasted like it came out of can of my childhood.  Gross!

Also, recommend skipping Guy's Pig & Anchor for dinner.  It was essentially leftover from the lunch buffet.  Dried out and tasteless.

You made the mistake of not ordering the tomahawk pork chop with the fingerling potatoes.  Well worth the upcharge price.

That's what my husband had and said.  I just expected the Captain's choice to be special and it was gross.

You used to get more than 4 before the Royal cutbacks, but I digress. Perks are bribes.

The "Happy Hour in the Lounge, was 5pm-8pm: now we get 4/5/6 drinks in ANY Bar and most Dining Rooms.  That's all day/night!

Mine is Diamond Plus.

Wasn't asking you.  Blerk flies the Carnival Corporation flag and only cruised on Celebrity after getting a casino deal.  Was inquiring if he ever cruised on Royal.

Hope you enjoy your five drinks per day on each sailing on Royal.

I guess that gkbiii would know the answer since his status on Royal is Diamond Plus and I will infer from your response that your status is never.

Your ability to be wrong is uncanny.

Then why so evasive on post 71.  I asked a point blank question and all you needed to do was respond with a straight forward answer as to what your status is on Royal.  Cruising on Royal doesn't tarnish your Carnival Corporation flag.
