Anyone used P&O transfer from Central station to White Bay?

Sailing on Pacific Adventure 24th July.  Just received an email from P&O about transfers from Central to White Bay $15 PP .

 

Any experience in using this?  We were thinking of just getting a taxi but not sure if there is any advantage in using the P&O transfer instead.

We go taxi from outside Central's main entrance. Not much dearer, and easy as.

 

For return, we book White Bay to Central transfers on the ship as some days the taxi queues are long. These are usually for around 9:15 disembark, so makes for a relaxed morning, but not suitable if you are in a hurry to get home.

I am allergic to taxis and taxi drivers - so this info about P&O transfers is interesting 🙂 - not that I will be doing any cruises from Sydney yet for a long time.

We have, albeit pre-covid. Very easy, buses clearly marked, left from Eddy Avenue Central Station.

$15pp is reasonable...just did an Uber from Circular Quay to White Bay a month ago and it was $30...so no real difference.

As mentioned the $15 pp isn't bad and for one person is great value, for 2 people the cost is much the same but a taxi may be quicker and easier. For 3 people a cab would be better.and cheaper.
