Does Celebrity Have Dining Check-In on their App?

Carnival has a very nice App feature that allows you to check in for your Main Dining Anytime Dining from your App. It gives you an estimated wait time and then a message when it is time to head to the dining room. Does Celebrity have any system in place for their Open (anytime) dining other than having to personally show up at the dining room with your party and wait?

No.  You can make reservations but then you show up.  We have been on for 4 nights and had a 5 min wait 1 night and a 10 min wait another.

I've never seen reports on this board of substantive waits to be seated.

It really depends on what table size you want, and there are certain times that can be problematic, like one hour after opening.

Thanks. That's what I thought, but others we are traveling with insist their wait times on Royal Caribbean were untenable and don't want a repeat. Would a table for 8 be easy or hard?

 

Also, do they really charge $10 per person for reservation cancellation less than 24 hrs?

Can you still order from the DR menu to deliver to your  room at night?

That's for Specialty restaurants. NEVER MDRs.

Yes, make pre-cruise reservations through the cruiseplanner.
