Vancouver-what to do after disembarkation

We have a one way cruise on Grand Princess the last weekend of June ending in Vancouver.  We disembark (with luggage) at 7 or 8 AM on a Saturday but our flight doesn't leave YVR until Sunday morning at 6 AM.

Looking for suggestions for what to do with luggage (we plan to get a hotel at airport to spend night), and things to see and do in Vancouver on Saturday.  There will be 5 of us ages 21-80.

Thank you!

You can store your luggage at the cruise ship terminal.  This company also offers tours.

One option is Stanley Park.  It is beautiful and there is lots to see and do.  It is right near the cruise ship terminal.

Happy to help if you have other questions.

Stanley Park is beautiful and easily accessed from the cruise ship terminal. Also right at the terminal is the Harbour Seaplane terminal. The sightseeing flights are amazing!

If you are interested in shopping, Gastown, Pacific Centre and Robson street are also close by the cruise ship terminal and easily walkable. Granville Island is a bit farther away.

Another great option is to take a taxi/Uber up to Grouse mountain. The views from the summit are excellent and there is a Grizzly Bear habitat, naturalist exhibits and restaurants.

If you store luggage at the cruiseship terminal, explore the downtown area, then take the skytrain (also very close to the terminal) into Richmond whenever you are ready.

Steveston has great restaurants and a tour of an old cannery.  Grouse mountain has great views of the city. If you are fit and want to work off some of the food you ate on the cruise you can do the Grouse Grind. Caplilano bridge park is great.  And Granville Island has a great shopping area to poke around with restaurants.  Enjoy your stay but I would suggest to see if it makes sense to go to your hotel by the airport to see if they will hold your luggage while you explore.
