Going to infinity bay resort on the west end of Roatan, does anyone know the cost of a taxi from coxen hole port, thanks

Is that an official taxi (not sure if they have a union in Roatan) list posted at the ports?

 

I have never had success with regulated taxi rates, or even licensed taxis, in Roatan and this has been a long time gripe of mine. I fail to see how it can be the same price from Coxen Hole AND Mahogany Bay.  I would love to take a taxi to West End and be able to guarantee I could get one back.

 

Mahogany Bay to French Harbor for $20 doesn’t make sense compared to Mahogany Bay to west Bay.

Thanks i have seen that before but never had much success. I have given up trying to find regular transport in Roatan. 

 

I don’t share the passion many cruisers have for Roatan. I suspect it may be better on a non- cruise day but still don’t have a comfortable feel after many years of following local news and politics.

I agree with CLegs, that chart makes no sense. 

 

I would much rather chose a day pass with transport included or hire a private driver so you can learn about his/her beloved island.
