gavvy Posted May 4, 2023 #1 Share Posted May 4, 2023 Made a booking this morning with the casino helpdesk, the ref I was given does not link and I didn't not receive the booking email- is this normal, or do I have to call back to get it sorted. They took payment and I see it pending on my account

RFerrington Posted May 4, 2023 #3 Share Posted May 4, 2023 Casino bookings take a while to process. They must go through a reconciliation process to accurately reflect the pricing. It can sometimes take a day or more before the booking actually gets published. Have you tried the “add a booking” (or whatever it says) to you list of current cruises ? If it seems to add your booking but then the booking still doesn’t appear in your “list” - don’t worry. Just give it time. It will show up eventually.

Every time, without exception, the Casino Royale representative asked me to verify I received an e-mail with the booking information before ending the call.
Mikew0805 Posted May 4, 2023 #5 Share Posted May 4, 2023 Should have the confirmation right away from the person you speak with. If not, call back and ask them to send. Confirmation always shows the comp right away.

gavvy Posted May 4, 2023 Author #8 Share Posted May 4, 2023 Well rang again. 1.5h on hold. Apparently the booking was not finalised or something the lady did that and then boom 6 booking confirmations came through and it was all linked on-line. Assume the casino hold times are so long as everyone is booking the annual prime voucher. It took me almost 30 min to make the booking which Is mad and no wonder hold times are so bad

The reservation is created...you will get a reservation # and confirm e-mail...but it wouldn't show up in the planner usually till the next day.

Waterluv Posted May 4, 2023 #11 Share Posted May 4, 2023 I just experienced this yesterday. It took me 4 days to get thru to a Casino rep. The callback system is a terrible joke at best. It Did take about 3 hours for my new cruise to show up in the Planner/App. I got email with booking number right away but again it did not show immediately 1
