MDR Table Arrangement

We have a group of 20 sailing at the end of 2024. 7 different cabins with all bookings linked.

Anyone have any insight on how we could arrange our tables in advance?   eg 2 tables of 10 or 3 tables of various numbers

On a previous cruise, we were assured by our PVP that our group of 14 would be be seated at the same table. Upon boarding, we were seated at two tables and the Maitre'D could not change our arrangement. Post-cruise, that PVP brushed it off and we never used him again.

First, on embarkation day after everyone gets their S&S cards, check your dining room and table numbers. I think with a group of 20, you should have 2 tables for 10, so 10 would have one table number and 10 another number. If you have an opportunity, go to the dining room and see if you can find your tables. Sometimes the table numbers are already there, or there may be someone in the DR that may be able to help you figure it out. If that doesn’t work out to your satisfaction, then go to see the Maitre d and see what they can do. I know if your group is linked, they try their best to accommodate you. There unfortunately is no way to prearrange the tables other than making sure all the cabins are linked. Good luck and happy cruising!

If you have a specific request, you can post to John Heald's Facebook page 5 days before your cruise with names and cabin numbers and he will send to the Maitre D who will do their best to accommodate you. There is no direct way to contact the Maitre D.
