Do you know if the stewards will provide extra blankets to use while sitting out on the balcony, or if you'd recommend bringing our own?

We've never been on an Alaska cruise so I can only reference within our experience, but very recently, we asked our steward to please leave the "extra" comforter out so that we can use it for naps without totally disrupting the bed.  I'm sure she thought she was helping, but rather than honoring our request, she put the comforter away (underneath the bed, where it came from) and left 2 blankets for our use.  We just used the blankets and let it slide...but we really prefer a nap beneath that awesome comforter !!

Without knowing the true answer, I would say, do not bother with bringing blankets from home.

Had 1100 on Serenade in April. Love LOVED the room. HUGE, as was the balcony.

We did hear sliding chairs, but it wasnt really a bother.

The only other thing that I have not seen anyone else point out is that the balcony does not have a lot of cover. Some sea days could be full sun. If you are OK with that, then I say GO FOR IT!

I would in a heartbeat.

I called RCCL but they can’t change it since I booked with a TA… I need to wait until the morning now 🙃😬

You should have seen if they could put it on a courtesy hold for you
