Gala/formal nights on HAL 10 days cruise (Baltic Jewels) departing July 2nd

First time cruisers here - how do we find out when the formal/gala nights are going to be on our cruise?  Cannot find the information anywhere!

Without looking at the itinerary hard to say. But expect they ( 2 of them)will be on a sea in the first day or two, and a sea day late in the cruise, but not the last night.

You will not know for certain until you are onboard.  However looking at the itinerary for July 2nd sailing of Nieuw Statendam from Copenhagen, the 'banker' dates would be July 3rd and July 9th, both of which are sea days.

This is the info I got from HAL when I contacted them about gala nights on my 7-night cruise, maybe it's helpful to you:

 

Dressy or Gala nights are deteremined by the ship staff, based on sailing itinerary and are not announced prior to sailing. Generally speaking, on a 7 day cruise, the Dressy nights will usually be scheduled for the first night at sea and the 2nd to last night.

@Amandella welcome to HAL and cruising!  HAL calls them "Dressy Nights" now to differentiate from back in the day when tuxedos and ball gowns were the norm!  Have a great trip!
