Viking Ship Juniper - Are rooms above the restaurant noisy?

Again - it doesn't matter if it is Jupiter.  ALL Viking Ocean ships are laid out the same.

As for restaurant noise, we stayed once on deck 6 aft below World Cafe - that was noisy (mostly by staff moving deck chairs and tables around in early morning on nice days getting ready for early breakfast).  Something to keep in mind.

Three times now over the dining room and not a sound, not even the cleaning crew.    We have two more sailings booked in the same vicinity.  I have tried other locations but have decided that Deck 3 aft in a DV6 is my preference.

Being over the dining room is a lot better than being under the buffet, where the sound of scraping chairs on bare deck is more apt to be transmitted to the deck below.

More than "apt" to be!

From our experience we will NEVER book a room under the World Cafe (Deck 6 aft).  It was really quite bad with all the scaping.  Beyond annoying.  Couldn't sleep.  Usually began around 3 or 4 in the morning.  I do have good hearing though.

On our first cruise we were in a DV mid-ships on Deck 6 under the pool grill area. Wouldn’t you know, there was a pool party one night and we could hear the pounding bass in our room as the party went past the stated end time. We quickly complained and they finally broke it up about 15 minutes later. We won’t book there again either!
