Vision of the Seas-general questions

Recommended Posts

Haven’t sailed in a few years…

1. should I bring my own corkscrew for wine I carry on?

2. I saw I can carry on 12 cans per cabin …could that be soda/Pepsi/coke?  Water?

3. Has anyone had a good experience with the food in complementary dining areas recently?

4. How do I get my benefits, specifically drinks? I’m only platinum, but it mentions a few discounts (50% off 2 drinks).  Do I need my pin, do I mention it when ordering drinks, is it added automatically?

If anyone has any feedback on the Vision from Baltimore to Bermuda, specifically…I’d love to hear it.

thanks!!!!!

@DragonOfTheSeas just posted an excellent and extensive live review of Vision of the Seas.

Your drink discounts will be on your seapass card. And your 12 can/bottle allotment can be either soda or water.

1) Not if it's a screw cap (hah!) but many people do take a travel corkscrew with them

2) Any of those

3) Yes, no issues with the new menus

4) They'll be pre-loaded  onto your card and a list describing them in your stateroom when you board.

You might not get much yet as she just got to Baltimore recently and is on her first sailing there.

BTW, the cabin steward can get you a bottle opener.

Does Vision Of The Seas have the cards you can fill out at night to have breakfast delivered the next morning?

Yes, They are usually in the center drawer of the desk/dresser.

Thanks.  It's been a while since I've sailed RCCL and I couldn't remember if they had that amenity.

There is a $7.95 charge (+ 18% gratuity) per order for non-suite guests for room service.  However, the surcharge does not apply to continental breakfast items.
