We're visiting the Titanic museum today as part of a Titanic walk.

We don't have any Princess shore excursions yet booked, but I will make inquiries of the shorex staff.  If you don't see an answer, please remind me again.

 Thanks for following along.

Pleased you're enjoying your time in Southampton.

We're just waiting for our taxi to take us from home to Southampton.  Maybe bump into you onboard.

Hoping for a good cruise.

I'm enjoying  your trip report.  It will be interesting to see how the check in process goes and if they use the boarding times from the app.    Have a wonderful time on the Regal.

We'll tempt fate tomorrow as we have to vacate our AirBnB by 10 and it's a mile away from the port.

Right now we're at Costco enjoying a dog and gelato and comparing it to the mother stores.  We visited the Titanic museum and a couple of Titanic memorials this morning. It's been a fun visit to Southampton.

Following along! My parents arrived at their hotel in Southampton this morning, ready to board for my mom's 69th birthday and their 45th wedding anniversary. They did this cruise last year, but missed one part due to weather and there were so many excursions they weren't able to do, they booked it again so they can explore more.

Good on them!  This year is our 55th in September.  But this cruise is my wife's birthday cruise.  She has a birthday on disembarkation day.

Today on our final full day in Southampton, we did a Titanic self guided walk, visited the Titanic exhibit in the SeaCity museum, took a bus out to the local Costco store for a Costco Dog, toured the local IKEA and logged over 12k steps. It was a bit cooler today with a light breeze, but it was still sunny.  Here's a few pictures from today.  Tomorrow we board the Regal Princess.

Wow!  We walked to the cruise terminal (about 35 minutes) and arrived at checkin on the second floor. We were checked in in under 5 minutes.  Fastest checkin ever.  We're now seated in the queue and we should be on board in a few minutes. Simply amazing since

We were on board at 11:08am despite a 1pm assigned checkin time.  My medallion did not work at security, but was quickly replaced at the Front Desk.  Unlike HAL, the rooms weren't ready so everyone is carrying their luggage.  We found seats in the Lido Horizon Court with a wonderful Harbor view. Rooms are not projected to be ready until 1:30pm.

The whole boarding and check in process was the fastest we've ever seen!

The buffet was truly amazing with its size and variety of food options.  But I was bummed out that everyone touches the serving utensils.

We've been waiting for over an hour for help with a lockout problem with our safe.  Also my second medallion device was not recognized at the muster station. But it did

The evening entertainment options look amazing as well as the buffet meal themes.

Our inside stateroom is nice although there are no USB or 110v connections bedside.  The only 110 or 220 volt connections are at the desk at the foot of the bed.

I'll post more as I experience it in this 'almost live' thread.

I'm following along as we will be flying out to Southampton to take a similar cruise in three weeks (British Isles with Liverpool).  Would appreciate it if someone on the ship could post if they are selling airport transfers.  I have heard that one some cruises you can only add transfers pre-cruise.  We always used to purchase them when on the ship which allows the use of OBC and are really hoping that they are still doing that.  Thanks in advance and have a great cruise!
