Onboard Credit Question

We will have $200 onboard credit which we can't spend until onboard.  We already have the drink and wifi package and don't usually eat at the Specialty restaurants or do spa treatments etc.   We have already booked and paid for shore excursions.  Serious question, what can we spend this money on?

You can spend it on Princess excursions now for use during your trip.

You can also spend it in the stores onboard and in certain portside shops. (Buy gifts.) You could also spend it on sanctuary days, photos, casino, etc.

Oh wow, I didn't know that.  It asked for a credit card when I booked my shore trips.  I'll go and have another look, thanks.  Yes, the stores on board, I forgot. I do like a little bit of costume jewellery when I travel.

If it is refundable OBC, you will receive a refund. So you do not need to spend it at all. We received a check form ours just a few weeks after our cruise.

No, ours are non-refundable.  I'll just have to spend up while on the ship 🙂

If you’ve never tried the Ultimate Balcony Dinner, it’s fabulous!  Book it once OB with RS, so you can use your OBC.

If you want the cash, go to the casino, add the OBC to your gaming account, take a spin or two on a slot machine and then cash out. I actually make a few extra $$ on our last cruise!

We do this as soon as the casino opens and then never go back. Better to have the cash in your own pocket.

We actually use it for tips to servers and steward.

When I recently faced this dilemma I went to the GS desk and ordered flowers for my cabin. They made me smile every time I returned.

I was wondering this as well but think it may be sushi and gelato! Either that or some Clinique from the shops....

If you can't buy excursions now with your credit it is not from the booking, stockholder or military.  These types appear before the cruise.  Other types don't show up in your account until day 2 onboard.
