cheriberi Posted June 7, 2023 #1 Share Posted June 7, 2023 Looking for reviews on using Seattle Express from Pier 91 to SEATAC. Do they normally leave shortly after you board or do they wait until they are full? We have a noon flight & plan to walk off as early as we can. TIA

Taxi would be the more efficient, time wise, for your noon flight.
DaveOKC Posted June 7, 2023 #3 Share Posted June 7, 2023 We loved this service. Had to wait a few minutes for the van to fill but it was easy to find and the vans are not that large so filling went quickly (unlike a bus). Since you pay ahead of time, it was quick and easy. Rare Ferry_Watcher Posted June 7, 2023 #4 Share Posted June 7, 2023 Agree with @DaveOKC. The Seattle Express vans (more like small shuttle buses) are very efficient, and receive very good comments from CCer's.
Rare SuzieQ521 Posted June 7, 2023 #5 Share Posted June 7, 2023 We just used them for roundtrip a couple weeks ago...love them. They leave the Port every 15 minutes between 7 am to 11 am to the airport, although we did have to wait a bit for the shuttle to fill up but overall, they were great! Rare CynCyn Posted June 7, 2023 #6 Share Posted June 7, 2023 (edited) We had to wait in line for about 20 minutes but it was worth it, pro tip- don’t wait in the line coming out of the port where they tell you where to go- walk around the Stanton’s to Parking Space R. It will get you through much faster than waiting for all of the people who don’t know where they are going! It took us less than 20 minutes to leave the port. We originally planned to only use service to the pier. Once we got there, we changed our minds. The lines for cabs for those embarking were crazy and the Uber/Lyft drop off was quite a walk. We literally were dropped off, walked in, went into Platinum/Elite area and boarded around 11. No waits anywhere. we did have an issue with a port worker denying entry into Platinum/Elite area because the sign said Elite. I made him ask a supervisor. We got in. 1sttimeAlaska Posted June 14, 2023 #7 Share Posted June 14, 2023 Had every one who posted here reserved Seattle Express before the cruise? Or is this something that you can just decide at the last minute when you disembark? Can you take Seattle Express without reserving it ahead of time? We have 6 of us, which includes a 6-year-old and a 3-year-old. We will have car seats for them.
Rare Ferry_Watcher Posted June 14, 2023 #8 Share Posted June 14, 2023 You absolutely need to reserve Seattle Express, especially with a group of 6 passengers. The company needs to plan for how many passengers they need to transport.
Rare SuzieQ521 Posted June 15, 2023 #9 Share Posted June 15, 2023 Yes, definitely reserve Seattle express as soon as you can as they are pretty popular and fill up, especially during the Alaska cruise season.
Rare CynCyn Posted June 19, 2023 #10 Share Posted June 19, 2023 We reserved the day before disembarkation. No trouble at all. They have tons of busses and vans.
