There is so much conflicting "information" out there as to when this is actually required that I no longer have any idea when it comes into effect. Does anyone have any real information? I appreciate it.

Thank you both. I had thought that, but I started getting "help" from folks that claimed to know something. It reminded me that most so called "free advice" in fact usually costs a great deal...

So, ETIAS is going to be required for an upcoming cruise to Singapore and surrounding countries starting in 2024.  Do we still need to have a VISA also to enter these countries?

No.

 

ETIAS is for the European Union.

Assuming you are American, you do not need a Visa for Singapore. But you do have to fill out this form before you get there:
