London Eye

Any need to pre-book tickets for the London Eye or is it ok to just show up?  Sep 9/23

We had pre-booked tickets and joined a line that took about 45 mins to get to board the capsule.  Those buying at the ticket kiosk joined a separate line that met ours at the boarding platform, that line looked about twice as long.  This was in November 2022.

Living in the UK, I agree with the above, you will still have a line but it will be much shorter if you already have tickets.

Pre book.  If possible A good  time to go on is just before sunset when the buildings are being lit up.

 

In September sunset is around 7pm.

Pre-book if at all possible.

This is my opinion only. This is something everyone should do but be prepared to be underwhelmed.

I'm happy to say I've done it but won't be doing it again. Now, if I had a new friend or family member traveling with me and they wanted to do this, then I would go with them.
