Serenade of the Seas Laundry

I had seen rumors that the Serenade may be getting self-serve laundromats for the world cruise. Anyone know if this is reality or not, and if they have already been installed?  Doing a Canada/New England on her in October and it would change our packing regimen.

I have no firsthand knowledge. But I don't think it will be available to regular passengers, until possibly sometime after the World Cruise.

It is true that 3 laundromats for passenger use are being installed on the Serenade for the UWC.  Whether (if ready) they would be available to any passengers on cruises that begin before December 10, 2023, is unknown.  Also unknown is what will happen after September 10, 2024.

Assume any laundry facility will be exclusive to the WC customers only.

I suspect it will be removed after the world cruise.  For some reason I thought I read that a cabin was converted into the laundry.

Maybe I could book the room and open a full serve laundry after the World Cruise. 😃
