MoveUp bid suggestions volatile?

Hello everybody,

we are considering a bid for an upgrade from oceanview to, at least, balcony stateroom. However, I found the starting bid of 400$ per person too expensive. 

Do you know if, once moveup is available, the bid suggestions are fix or do they get adjusted sometimes closer to the cruise or if the demand isn´t high enough?

Sometimes the minimum bid goes down.  However, I would suggest that you consider just moving to a guarantee balcony.  Might actually be more cost effective depending upon the sailing.  Good luck.

thanks. Indeed, minimum bid ist the same price as if I decide to purchase the upgrade instantly.

I've seen them go down and went in and adjusted my bid accordingly.

Does anyone know if everyone gets an offer to submit a bid? What if I have a inside guarantee? Or is it only for people who have specific categories?

There's at least on large retail store with a travel department that doesn't participate.  But most people will get bid offers available to all categories including insides and guarantees.
