there once was a Airline commercial stating "it's the only way to fly"....will not book a Princess cruise without "club class"....and we do tip besides crew incentive for the great service....my understanding is if you have prepaid crew incentive your servers are allowed to keep the tip they receive....to "Tip or Not" is nobody's business but your own....

Now north of 50 posts and I didn’t see the obvious in any of them.

Tip in whatever manner makes YOU comfortable and feels right to YOU.

True, Bgwest, but where's the fun in that?

We are cruising on Crown in about 3 weeks, our first time in Reserve class dining. I thought it was open for dinner only, but based on some of the comments here, are we able to dine there for breakfast and lunch also? We have a RC mini-suite.

Yes breakfast daily and lunch on sea days. Enjoy!

I think this was a drive by posting 😄.  It's been over three day's,  and the O P hasn't responded to any posts.

Every night?  $30 per day of extra optional tipping.  That is ridiculous especially as I assume that you are leaving the automatic gratuity on.

DON

Hold onto your hat, it gets even better- on my last 10 day over the holidays, in addition to the extra $200- $300 in tips I gave to the Club Class crew, I slipped the manager a $50 when he surprised my teen daughter with an invite to the 360 experience. We had a blast!

I only wish I could be that generous.

Simply because they're being catered to and it's customary.

Not customary where I’m from which is why grats are included in the fares we pay.

No one is asking you to come to he US but if you do you should respect customs like we do when we visit other countries

Well I hope if you visit a place where tipping is not the norm you would not tip.

Absolutely, it's a insult to tip in some countries, Japan as an example
