Check your accounts - possible 10% FCC available

I've been 'stalking' a cruise recently, and been really close to booking it, but I've been doing that while logged out of my account, so they don't know I'm looking which means this is not a 'we know you're looking, here's an incentive to book'.  I got an email today - 10% FCC in my account, book by Aug. 15, 2023, sail by March 31, 2024.  That works for me, I'm looking at one sailing January 27.

 

It DOES show in my account as well, right with my existing CND.

I happened to log into my account a couple days ago and saw this.  I had no idea what it was, and I had never received such a thing before.  I didn't receive any emails on it.  Now I'm wondering if it's stackable with other discounts.  I already get 20% with my casino card and 10% military discount.

I happen to log in to see about applying a 3rd cruise next coupon for the Triple Up promo when I saw our 10% off coupon sitting there on the account. NCL allowed us to apply both promos to our upcoming cruise in January. Definitely pays to check your accounts!

Definitely worth asking….they allowed us to combine the 10% off with the triple up promo to an preexisting reservation.

They’re throwing a bunch of coupons out there.  I had a coupon for Alaska 20% off.  Used that a few moths ago.  Had another for 50% off Alaska on the smaller ships.  Didn’t use that.  Had one for 20% off Mediterranean Cruises.  Booked that for OCT.

 

2 more showed up that had to be used by June 22 for more Alaska cruises.  Those expired and are no longer there.

 

Can’t make any sense why some get the coupons and some don’t.

I had those as well but didn't book them.  But not booking using those previous ones allows me to do the 15-day Panama Canal trip I'm considering, for which I would use the 10% in my account now...

That’s a good question.  I see no pattern to who does and doesn’t get the coupons.

Well this is unfair…lol.  Curious…remember those random labels they applied to our accounts earlier this year.  Mine was JADE…although we really don’t do much gambling…maybe $100 or less on the slots.  Others had things like 20DISC.  For those who have been fortunate can you please share your label is and what offer you have received.

I had some earlier this year I think there was the Alaska but was not on our to do list,

 

Used a 20% Europe and another one has turned up along with a general 10%.

Not used either on last booking, TA was giving more discount not combinable.

 

Small(20%==£60) saving on cheap cruises looking at others more expensive.

 

Got JADE label on account not used casino for years.

I have the entry level casino card.  I believe that is jade.  I've never earned enough points to move above the entry level.  It's interesting that I received this discount because I've taken 7 cruises with NCL, but I've never paid an actual cruise fare.  They have all been comp cruises.  so it would only be useful if I decided to take a cruise that isn't comped.  I actually am looking at booking a cruise for Christmas and New Years where I would be paying the far, so maybe.  But given my history, it's odd that they would offer me a discount

all my cruises have been comped through CAS, too, and you are correct that there is no fare basis to which you can apply a "percentage off" coupon. however, the percentage coupons do apply to the admin fee. it's a modest savings, but on a 10-day cruise, a 20% off coupon can save you forty bucks.

 

i'm "ruby" in CAS, but it doesn't say that anywhere online. but, a few months ago, the designation "casino + rewards" appeared in my account. 🤷‍♂️

I recently had 2 cruises cancelled for late 2024; they offered 10% off coupons which recently showed up on my site page.

Ours says Jade as well. What do the codes mean?

We are not gamblers so it has nothing to do with the casino.

I don't understand the offers either, we have been on 7 plus NCL cruises and our travel friends on only 3 NCL cruises with us.

 

After each cruise our travel friends have received email offers with discounts or just had them show up in their accounts and we don't get these!

 

After booking our last cruise together on The Escape last March they got an email about 10% off and called and had it applied to that cruise. So I called and asked about it and was told sorry no but they gold me I could use it for my upcoming Jade Cruise! Nice but I still paid 10% more for the Escape cruise than mu friend's did ☹️

 

So today I "saved" some dream cruises on my account and maybe the coupon God's will leave me a gift!

When you login to your account on NCL.com, click on My Account. You will see your name, Lat status and number and in a shaded box something else.  Looks like there a lot of JADE and LATITUDE labels.  But there are others like @UKstages got casino+rewards.
