Our cruise will depart from Port Canaveral. We are going to fly out the day before our cruise. Can you recommend a hotel that offers the shuttle to Port Canaveral?

Thanks!

Lots of hotel and transportation information available on the Florida Departures forum located at:

Welcome to the boards!

Orlando, where you will likely fly into, is about a 1-hour drive from Port Canaveral.  If you fly in late in the day your best bet is to stay in Orlando near the airport and then shuttle/Uber to the port in the morning.  If you fly in early enough, you can use a one-way car rental or shuttles/Uber to get to your Port Canaveral hotel.

In the PC area we like the Homewood Suites, but there are dozens of hotels to choose from - info on your budget and who's travelling will help the suggestions to be closer to your target.

@celestialcruiser When I did a search on Trip Advisor for "Towne Place Suites in Port Canaveral. A few came up. Was this your hotel?

We rented a car at MCO (Orlando airport) and then returned it at the Port.  There is a rental return right at the Port for Enterprise, Alamo & and one other?  They have a quick and easy shared shuttle to your ship.

There are a lot of hotels in the area close to the port.  We enjoyed staying at the Cocoa Beach Best Western.  It's just a few miles from the port.  (There are actually a couple of fun places to eat at the port!)   Our hotel was right on the beach and had a decent free breakfast😎

Did you have any delays when you dropped your rental car off at Budget the morning of the cruise?  I have been reading such horrible reviews about how long it took to retun the car.

This is kinda what we did. Since there were 6 of us we had Cruise Control pick up at MCO then drop off at Home2Suites. Rented a car thru Costco from Budget to use our 2nd pre-cruise day to get to KSC. DH dropped us off at the port terminal and all our luggage day of cruise. He then took the car back to Budget and got a shuttle back to port. He was gone no more than about 25 min. Cruise Control picked us up cruise end day and back to MCO. This worked out so extremely easy for our 4 adults and two kids.

Loved Home2Suites !!

Has anyone in here stayed at Days Inn by Wyndham cocoa cruiseport west?  seeing mixed reviews online

We seen mixed as well but decided to book it anyway, $298 for the ocean front junior suite. We are two couples so splitting it and the room seems large. Also reviews of the restaurant seem great

The hotel mentioned by KattyPoo is in Cocoa - no ocean in Cocoa. Sounds like you may have booked a hotel in Cocoa Beach.
