That person was wrong & might be being lazy telling you that.... or unaware?

CVP CAN book bounceback/Come back & Play offers.

I wonder if @JGmf have the same CVP, because my CVP told me she couldn’t book casino offers.  She said I need to go through the casino dept.  I thought that weird since the invite has an offer code on it.

To see your offers: Go to princess.com, login, go to "my account", click the tab that says "my profile", then click on "circle savings/cruise credits", then click on "on board credits" and "view details". Any offers you have will show there. You will most likely have to do this for each of you since you have different offers. If nothing is there, you'll have to call 😞

If the offer is showing, do a cruise search with any pertinent details (what month, number of days, etc.) Click the green button "view xxx cruises". The applicable cruises will show up and indicate the amount you would pay for an inside. Click on the cruise you are interested in and continue booking where you will be shown pricing for all cabin types.

I hope this helps answer your question. I travel solo so don't know how the two different offers you have are handled and you may still have to call.

Thank you!  That is where I’ve been looking but I only see my FCD.  Same with my husbands account.  My husband asked the casino dept to escalate the issue, but I’ll not hold my breath.  The cruise we want is so cheap, it probably won’t be worth the headache.  Do you know if casino rates are allowed on cabins with 3 people?

Your CVP doesn't want to work for free. They don't get credit for booking, so why would they?

I believe so, but you have to pay for third person. I don't know from personal experience, just what I've read other people posting on FB and other parts of this website

TNMountains You got on Sky when we got off and being the same offer ER5, it doesn't seem to show anywhere.  If you can get through to Arizona, there's a few people there who seem to be able to escalate it better than others.

Your offer may expire soon, so keep nagging to get this sorted.   I wasn't prepared to lose the $200pp paid or port taxes $220 and have to pay another $620 cancellation fee on top, so called every night to get this sorted out.  Alan has been amazing and having him on side seemed to help.

I must admit, if there were no fees to pay, I think I would have given up.

I’m not suggesting anyone should work for free!  It seems half the folks on these boards say CVP can book casino rates and the other half suggest they can’t.  I was merely suggesting maybe some of us who are being told they can’t book the casino rates are speaking with the same CVP.  Same holds true for those saying they can book them.  Maybe there is one CVP who is booking casino rates to foster relationships with clients in hopes they come back and use them on cruises they purchase.  🙂

How do you get through to Arizona?  Do you keep calling the 800 number and escalating?   The cruise is only $250 pp, so I’m not sure I’m going to put much effort into this.  I do need to make a decision because we booked the cruise while on the ship to save our cabin and they booked them with the wrong ages on 2 kids.  My CVP cancelled/rebooked one cabin to fix my daughter’s age.  I didn’t want to ask her to update the my son’s age if we were going to cancel and book through the casino.  I’m afraid if I sit too long I’ll forget to get his aged corrected until it is too late or costs $$.

I keep calling until I get a US accent answering the call and they all seem to be Arizona - never had anyone anywhere else in the US answer in the Players Club line 1-800-772-6697.   I will hang up if I don't get anyone else in the US as they dont deal with it and inevitably drop the call if they can't.

Banging my head against my desk trying to book a %!@# casino offer.  Please note that the number is is 1-888-772-6697, not 1-800....

I'm going to mix it up and try @LWhit approach on US connection/accent.

Here goes...

I'm reporting back on my experience trying to book my bounce back offer: I finally did it, about a month after receiving that piece of paper it in my cabin.

As you readers know, the road to this happy ending is paved with unnecessary frustration and road blocks.  Calls to the Philippines casino line to book the cruise yielded nothing.  Two emails to "fbaron" with an attached photo of the offer sheet yielded nothing either.  About three weeks after getting off the ship, the offer remained missing from my file.

I finally got frustrated enough to email the VP for Hotel Operations (lwarren@princesscruises.com) to kindly explain how maddening this is and also to share our collective angst by pasting in a link to this thread.

Well, the next day I received a recorded VM from someone in the casino department who said they'd upload the offer.  The following day I called the Philippines to get this done.  Nada.  Not uploaded yet.  (Really?)

Well, what else could I do?  I waited two more days and called the same casino booking line again -- and two minor miracles happened! -- first, I got a terrific person on the line who was based in Arizona (yay!); and second, my offer was uploaded, so I booked my cruise.  My First World problem was solved!

So, all good in the end, but rather idiotic that a corporation of this size can't figure out how to roll-out the proper software to immediately tie your bounce back offer to those responsible for booking such things.

All of you who share my challenges: keep trying.  Email "lwarren".  Kindly complain.  Maybe they'll get this fixed on a system level.

JGmf - that's great news - more staff in Arizona (Alan in particular has been amazing) seem to have a handle on things, whereas the Phillipines don't.

I finally booked my  flights for 2 Sep and hotel the night before as things have settled down now.

In my account, I can see the freeplay offer(s) but not that it has been assigned to this particular cruise.  I'm just going to take my paper CBS with me and get them to add the freeplay on board.

I asked the person in Arizona if/when the freeplay would be linked to the booking - she said about two weeks prior to the cruise.  Hopefully that's the case.
