Rare pappy1022 Posted July 12, 2023 #1 Share Posted July 12, 2023 Shipboard credits are assigned to a person and not to a cabin. Can I use some of my shipboard credits to partially pay for my wife’s SPA treatments or whatever else she decides to use them on?
mrlevin Posted July 12, 2023 #2 Share Posted July 12, 2023 Yes; all you. have to do is set up one shipboard account when you board.
Rare pappy1022 Posted July 12, 2023 Author #3 Share Posted July 12, 2023 Thank you. How do you do that and how do you transfer credits to the 1 account? Our TA said they would make the final credit a stateroom credit vs individual credits so that would take care of things (I think),
Portolan Posted July 12, 2023 #4 Share Posted July 12, 2023 We may have had to request this at some point and it "stuck," but all of our shipboard credits show up under one account when on-board. Possibly this happens more automatically if you share the same last name (as we do)? But certainly can be arranged if it doesn't happen automatically. 1982CruzStart Posted July 13, 2023 #5 Share Posted July 13, 2023 My DH and I have different last names and we each have an account, however the 2 accounts were netted against each other in the end so it didn't matter where the SBC showed and where the charge was posted. It all worked out in the end.
flossie009 Posted July 13, 2023 #6 Share Posted July 13, 2023 If you check-in using only one credit card (in one or other of your names) then the on-board accounts will be linked. Simple to check by looking at your on-board accounts on the TV screen in your suite part way through the cruise. Any issues, then simply call by Reception and they will sort for you.
