JediMom Posted July 16, 2023 #1 Share Posted July 16, 2023 We are sailing on the Brilliance of the Seas in a couple of weeks. It's a roundtrip from Vancouver, and we are sailing the inside passage. Will we be able to still see glaciers on our sea days going up the coast?? Even though we are portside? I have ideas of enjoying watching the view sail by on our sea days. Didn't realize I booked the non coast side 🤦 Thanks so much!
roupa Posted July 16, 2023 #2 Share Posted July 16, 2023 Round trip you say? So seems likely what you don’t see going up, you’ll see coming down? 😉
CruiserBruce Posted July 16, 2023 #3 Share Posted July 16, 2023 Side of the ship doesn't matter. The scenery is all around you.

SbbquilterUT Posted July 16, 2023 #5 Share Posted July 16, 2023 Do not recall seeing any glaciers from our inside passage sailings.
CILCIANRQTS Posted July 16, 2023 #6 Share Posted July 16, 2023 Also, the major glaciers are deep within fjords, not along the coast. You’ll likely have a glacier viewing day, and the captain does a 180 degree pivot to be sure all get a good photo op.
