Looking at booking cabin C422 on the Caribbean Princess.  Would appreciate any comments from any recent cruisers.   Thanks in advance for your help.

Completely normal balcony cabin. Totally unobstructed. Looks just like the photo on the Website, or any of the numerous other photos and videos of balcony cabins 9m Caribbean Princess (or Crown,, Grand, Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby or Diamond)

What makes it "premium" is the location - on Caribe deck, you'll have a significantly larger than standard balcony. It'll be 9x9, and half cover, half uncovered..  you'll look straight down into the balconies of the mini-suites below you..

Enjoy

We had C422 on the Golden several years ago and enjoyed it very much. If fact, when booking Grand Class ships, we always book on the Caribe deck because of the great balconies. These days we book closer to aft, though. We weren't sure of the noise because of the close proximity to the elevators but that as not an issue at all. It is also a desired location because of the central location on the deck. Less ship movement for those prone to seasickness.
