Cruisefanatic71 Posted August 10, 2023 #1 Share Posted August 10, 2023 We are heading out on the Adventire of the Seas on Saturday. We have booked the All Access Ship Tour. Is there a dress code for this? Is shorts, t-shirt, close toe shoes or sneakers enough or do you have to wear long pants on the tour? Thanks in advance for all the information. Tlbecker1 Posted August 10, 2023 #2 Share Posted August 10, 2023 There isn’t a dress code for the ship tour. Wear what is comfortable for you. Enjoy!

Yes there is a dress code. Only closed toe shoes, long pants are also required for men and women.
neverbeenhere Posted August 10, 2023 #5 Share Posted August 10, 2023 While unstated: they do required that participants where tops of some sort. top hat’s won’t do, but are acceptable.

Coralc Posted August 11, 2023 #7 Share Posted August 11, 2023 You have to wear closed toes shoes for sure. That was a requirement on our galley tour.

Sorry, this isn't a political forum, or a discussion on the dining room. This is a tour in the working sections of the ship, and the tour clearly says, no open toe shoes, and long pants are required. Just like the employees must wear. They will turn you away, if you are not dressed per the rules.

Not accurate. There are definite dress requirements for safety. OP - be sure to have closed toe shoes and enjoy the tour. Edit - didn't see the post from Killtheump that clearly states all the requirements. M Edited August 11, 2023 by cruisegirl1
Rare Kellie in Texas Posted August 11, 2023 #10 Share Posted August 11, 2023 We did the all-access tour on Adventure this past January and the screenshot that @killtheump posted is the same info that we got. Long pants, closed toe shoes were the main thing. Also, we were wanded by a ship security officer twice during the tour, so be prepared for that. Not true, long pants and closed toed shoes are required. They sent people back to their cabins to change and it held up the tour for everyone else that had to wait 15-20 for them to get back. Between the galley and the stair climbing, I’m quite surprised. m Edited August 11, 2023 by cruisegirl1

We found out at the end of the tour that the women and teenage boy that were sent back to their cabin to change were the wife and son of the 2nd captain who we met on the bridge tour. They sent a total of 3 people back to change into long pants and put on closed toed shoes.

We had checked with Guest Services the day before and they told us shorts were fine. When we got to the meeting space, the tour guide sent our son back to change when he was in shorts. They told us it was a hygiene and safety thing and was mandatory, no exceptions. We have been on 2 All Access Tours, one on Oasis pre-covid and just recently (May) on Harmony. Both were much, much stricter about the closed toe shoes and long pants than the MDR is. Edited August 11, 2023 by cruise_co
