Scubadoc Posted August 11, 2023 #1 Share Posted August 11, 2023 We have not cruised with Royal Caribbean in about five years. We are three weeks away from our cruise and I’ve been trying to check in on the app. It gives me what looks to be a boarding pass, but says they have hit a snag and they will send me Health questions the day before the cruise. Is that normal? The other cruise lines we have used since Covid have not done this on their app. So you can’t fully check in until the day before the cruise? And the larger concern is they required that I make a health assessment appointment. We’re in a suite and we should already be on the ship by the time of this “appointment.” Surely Royal Caribbean is not still doing this kind of stuff . Can someone reassure me here? neverbeenhere Posted August 11, 2023 #2 Share Posted August 11, 2023 I can only assure you that as of today, you are fine. You currently don't need a special health assessment appointment, but yes will will be answering questions at cruise time. These answers may lead to a health assessment appointment. Tomorrow, who knows, they may change the requirements.
CynBeth6 Posted August 11, 2023 #3 Share Posted August 11, 2023 On our recent Med cruise in July we never got the assessment to do the day before and no health questions were asked when we checked in.
shipgeeks Posted August 11, 2023 #4 Share Posted August 11, 2023 Health questions the day before (not weeks before) is normal. And we always just do ours in person, at the terminal.
