Has anyone got an email about the new Princess Cruise Package:

I am happy to confirm that I may have a perfect package which we have just introduced here at Princess!

It is called our Princess Cruise Package.

This will take care of all your travel needs with land and with sea, below will have all the relevant information about the package.

A Princess Future Cruise Package provides incredible incremental value and flexibility by allowing you to reserve your Princess cruise without having to commit to a specific sail date. Priced at $7,499 (Per Couple), your package includes $6,000 of Future Cruise Credits, $300 of Onboard Credits, 750 of Hotel Credits, and one 7-night Stay Certificate plus x2 2-night Stay Certificates. Here’s a bit more information on each of the package components:

Future Cruise Credits (FCCs)

$6000 Future Cruise Credits allow you to purchase your Princess cruise(s) once you are ready to book. Each FCC is worth $1, allows you to sail over the next 24 months, and can be used towards any future cruise booking with Princess. FCCs may be applied to one cruise or multiple cruises - the choice is yours!

Onboard Credits (OBCs)

An Onboard Credit (OBC) is a dollar amount that will be credited to your account for the first cruise booked as part of your Princess Future Cruise Package. Onboard Credits can be applied to expenses charged using your Princess Medallion during your cruise and can also be used as credit towards shore excursions, beverages, items purchased in the Shops of Princess, and services at the Lotus Spa.

Hotel Credits

Hotel Credits are exclusive to Princess Future Cruise Packages and allow you to save on hotel rooms found in the Princess Promotions hotel store. This booking engine includes tens of thousands of hotels around the world, including some of your favorite resort and island locations. Your Hotel Credits expire in 24 months, giving you plenty of time to find your next exciting destination.

Stay Certificates

Your package includes one 7-night Stay Certificate plus two 2-night Stay Certificates that can be used to reserve accommodations, at thousands of top-rated hotels and resorts around the world. You can combine your Stay Certificates as a pre- or post-stay with your cruise or use it for an entirely separate vacation. Like your cruise, you must complete your stay within 24 months of purchasing your package. Where will you go?

I haven’t received an email yet, but since I am planning on cruising in the next two years, I would consider it.

Does this offer have something to do with your Princess status?

Yes they mentioned that we are both Elite

I got a phone call trying to sell me that package! Interestingly (I think), when I said I wasn't interested at this time, she said that she could discount it -$300! She also broke it down in to how much the no interest monthly payments would be. Still not interested, I was offered a smaller package. The salesperson was very polite and she was calling from Santa Clarita. I think I got the call because my friend who has gone on 51 cruises with Princess isn't the primary guest on our next cruise together. The "deal" doesn't work for me because I have been taking advantage of some casino offers as a solo traveler and the offer doesn't apply to those!

@gvre, I just disembarked from the Emerald Princess and at the Future cruise desk, they have flyer regarding a Cruise Package, but I thought the price was lower than your $7499 stated price, it seems there may be a lower package offered with less amenities as you have listed?

The package is not for me, but hopefully someone currently on board a Princess ship can post a copy of the flyer available at future cruise.

This offer is not new and has been offered since the beginning of the year.  It's run by One Exchange Network (O.N.E.)  Don't know of anyone who has purchased a future cruise package.  The hotel stay sounds too good to be true.  The hotels exist, but the dates might not jive with your schedule.  Also probably best to ask to see a list of affiliated hotels that are available before biting the bullet.

I was one of the fortunate ones (NOT!) to have gotten the cold calls at the beginning of the year.

Talked about multiple times.  The thread below is one of the first that comes up in the search.

It is legit and is recognized by Princess on their official website.

This has been going on tor months and you’ll see multiple threads on this Princess forum about these promo calls.

They started out doing a lot of cold sales calls, now it seems not only calls, but emails and ship solicitations.  Princess never explained that we could be getting these calls.  No transparency.

They are a travel group O.N.E. so they do have access to your account.

There have been many posts and discussions this year about this solicitation.  Some thought it was a scam.  From the posts I saw, most were taking a pass, but one or two went for it.  Don't ask me what threads, but a search might help if you are interested.  A lot of folks got cold calls on phone earlier this year.  Perhaps they are changing approach and figure an email will get more attention.

ETA:  Guess I ought to have read whole thread first.  The thread link is above.  I was not aware ONE was now having flyers and advertising on the ships.

  1. I purchased one of these packages and put it on my Princess credit card through Barclays. I assumed I would be getting 2 credits for every dollar spent as on all other Princess bookings or on board spending. So far that is not the case. I'm getting a bit of run around when I first contacted Barclays, then Princess Promotions and then Princess Cruises. I don't have answer if this is an error or not. Perhaps since Princess Promotions is a 3rd party affiliated company but not Princess Cruises it will just be treated as a regular purchase. Stay tuned for more updates if they occur.
