Carnival website going down this weekend

According to Tony at La VLido Loca, the Carnival websites (including travel agent website) will be down this weekend for maintenance/upkeep.

 

Who knows, maybe it will come back up with free Cheers.

With all that time down maybe they could find a way to bring back the booking summary on the download documents!

Looks like no bookings will be possible this weekend, even using PVPs or the general Carnival 1-800 number. It will be fun to read how many threads get started with everyone that tries to book but can't.

So i am sail on Celebration leaving Sun the 17th ( this weekend ) hope no issues. Have printed boarding pass's and luggage tags as well as 1 copy of documents. Anything else anyone can think of?

Folks might want to record and save a list of their booked cruises with booking numbers. If that info disappears in the transfer to the new system having the booking numbers will make it easy to add the missing cruises.

Trying to book a shore excursion for November cruise and it will not go thru.  Any idea why?

Their guise is to "make the site more fun for you..."  I'm thinking it's Actually more of  "Making sure absolutely NO more glitches like the recent *CHEERS 🍷 incident🥂* occurs"😳🤣! It WAS fun while it lasted tho..  Any other theories?

Thank you for the response 🙂. Yeah I saw that also. But a lot of the other things I was hoping to see(all generic) gave me the same pop-up as our upcoming cruise specifically related. Oh well. I'll just wait until they're done updating/fixing and hang out here and on X all day🤔🤣
