Giving a bulk donation to the crew quarters for a party or whatever.

Does Crystal allow passengers to give a cash contribution to the crew to use in their bar or other recreational areas towards a party.

The entire staff, crew, etc. are all the greatest and we would like to say thank you to them.

However you cannot do it for them all. I know that giving them an excellent service letter to the Captain is one way.

I do know what we did on the World Cruises was doing it in several segments

Does anyone else say, Thank you, to the crew in different ways.

I always go to guest services on any ship and leave a donation to the crew welfare fund.

Tried to do this on Serenity in August of 2021 - Crystal would not allow it!!

Are you talking about giving money to the crew fund.

If so, they do it but maybe the person you spoke with didn't know how it worked.

On our most recent cruise I first asked the person at the desk if they had gratuity forms to charge gratuities to my account. He said no.  I explained it again and he looked confused but the concierge came over and he showed the person where they were.

In the early 2000s, there was a guest who would regularly throw a party for the crew in the crew areas.  Perhaps things have changed since that time.

This can still be done by guests.  The timing depends on various factors including when the last event was and the layout for that sailing with respect to itinerary, time changes and evening events.
