How early do they start Muster Drill?

On our last cruise we did Muster after lunch, but I was thinking we may want to do it earlier. Does anyone recall how early they start allowing you to do Muster Drill?

Muster starts as soon as they begin boarding. When you get on the ship just go straight to your muster station and they check you off, you watch a quick life vest demo and 1 minute later you are done.

Just go as soon as you get on the ship and be done with it. It takes less than 5 minutes. There will be people to point you to where you need to go.

Question: How do you know which muster station you need to go to before going to your cabin or getting your sail n sign card?

It will say on your boarding pass that you print off after you check in at home 2 weeks before your sail date.

Go early so you can start and get your drink on and not worry about them cutting you off

because you missed the muster.

Year ago we had to stand outside, in the sun, and wait for every last passenger to show up before they would begin. Then they moved it to the indoor venues, and now it's better than ever with the new check in being so easy and quick.

Now a days the crew will try their best to herd you towards your muster station as soon as you board.

As soon as we stepped into the atrium on the Sunshine they were pointing the way to the muster station. Two minutes later we were done! So much better than it used to be.

Thanks! How funny that after 25 cruises, I never paid attention to that before. 😅

In your defense, thing have changed a lot since your first cruise 😀

We arrive at approximately 11:00 am for all our cruises since turning platinum. Our routine is check in, go to our cabin, drop off carry ones then go directly to the assigned muster station. Then down to lunch and a few cold drinks to celebrate the start of vacation.

Your muster station is on your boarding pass.
