First Princess Cruise Post covid two questions

Been three years and glad to be getting ready for b2b on Emerald Princess 11/4 and 11/15. Two questions:

1. Can I bring on two 12 packs of canned dr pepper soda as luggage taped together?

2. Do I understand the stateroom attendant only comes once a day. How does this work?

1. Yes, you can bring two 12 packs of canned soda - and carry them on, don't check as luggage.

 

2.  They come twice a day, morning to clean, evening for turndown and empty trash.

Maybe one 8 pack in your luggage 8 pack in another suitcase. You can Prepurchase 8 packs its a Cruise DO NOT CHEAP OUT, Dude!!

Princess doesn’t have Dr Pepper onboard. I’ve always had to bring some with me. I believe they have Coke products onboard.

That’s why I packed a 12 pack of Diet Dr Pepper. Can’t find DDP Cherry any longer.

We carried on two 12 packs on the last cruise, no problem.

From the Princess passage contract:

 

Guests are also prohibited from bringing water, sodas and other non-alcoholic beverages on board that are packaged in bottles. A small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages (i.e., sparkling water, sodas, juice, milk) packaged in cans or cartons may be brought on board on embarkation day, only if carried on in Guests’ hand luggage (not in checked luggage). A small quantity is considered a maximum of 12 sealed, unopened cans/cartons of 12 ounces each or less per person.  Guests will be asked to discard open beverages in plastic containers prior to boarding.

Yes, you can carry on soda and water at embarkation and at ports.  And you can bring more than the one mentioned in the passage contract.  They do not check.

The contract said one 12 pack per person.  That being said, it would not surprise me if many ports don't really check.

Just got off the Emerald on 11/4. 
 

Our cabin steward serviced our room twice a day. He never asked us if we preferred otherwise.

We just got off the Regal.  Our room was serviced at least twice a day (sometimes it felt like three times)

 

We saw plenty of people carrying on 12 packs of soda.
