So in the freestyle daily it says not to feed the Seagulls, obviously the ravens are not following that messaging as they are worse than the Seagulls in Juneau.

Its finally time to head down to disembark. We get down to deck 5 and there is a line. While in line, I am able to get pictures of tonight's MDR menu. We are eating in town, so we will not be on the ship for this dinner.

Off to Juneau we go!

Please note: While I will make every effort to work on this over the weekend, I have to can salsa. I for sure will pick it up on Monday if not before.

Loving your review!

At breakfast, on Juneau day, we saw the Restaurant Manager come into the MDR. We talked to her about our experiences the first MDR lunch, the night at La Cucina, and especially last night at Moderno.

we were polite in explaining what we experienced and expected she would check in with us throughout the cruise when we were checked into a dining venue. Unfortunately, she never checked in with us the rest of the cruise.

if she is on in December, when we sail the Sun again, I am going over her head, if we have a problem, because it is obvious she is part of the service problem.

The word on street of Juneau is that if Juneau loses much more population, that the State Capital might get moved to Anchorage.

The totems lining the waterfront are really cool. The City has done a great job incorporating them into the waterfront area.

Being a railfan, I set up my camera gear next to the railroad tracks at the trailhead. I wanted to catch the morning trains departing Skagway.

IMG_2111-L.jpg

IMG_2112-L.jpg

3001 rounds the corner leading the first train from the Ore Dock.

IMG_2113-L.jpg

You can see the tripod. There was someone else set up filming the train as well.

Interesting fact: Someone walked the Chilkoot trail with a google camera and did a Google Street view map of the entire trail.

Street view map of Skagway - Check it out on Google if your interested. Its pretty cool.

After the Museum, it was about time for the early early trains to return to Skagway, so I headed over to Skagway Junction.
