Two weeks ago we stayed at the Hotel Arc Las Ramblas in Barcelona.  It is about 100 meters from a subway station.  We took the train to the airport for about 5 euros per person.

Hotels in Europe do not normally have their own shuttles to the airports.  The rare exceptions are those located at the airports.  However, you can email your hotel and ask them if they can arrange for a private transfer.  Your best option is to take a taxi to/from the airport.  The taxis are reliable and charge a flat rate for transport between airport and city center.  There is a taxi queue at the airport.  While at the hotel, the desk or doorman will call you a taxi.

I will echo what Marazul has advised, but toss out a few more details.  Change your thinking because you are not going to get a free shuttle to a hotel and later to the port.  This means you can consider booking any hotel in town and you might want to focus on a place in a decent location such as within walking distance of the Ramblas (the main tourist street).  

 

You are already spending a lot of money on your cruise and air.  As Marazul has advised, your best, and most convenient option is to simply grab a taxi from the airport to your hotel.  I am not sure of the exact current cost, but the taxis use meters and it will probably cost you $40-$50.  Plenty of taxis at the airport so getting one is not a problem.

 

If budget is the big issue you have a couple of other less expensive options.  You can take the Aerobus from the airport to downtown or use the train (generally not as convenient).  Either will cost you no more than $10 per person,   Here is a link that should help

We took the aerobus from the airport to our hotel near Las Ramblas.  A 30 minute ride for under $10....very easy.   There's a thread at the top of the page called BARCELONA HOTELS.... read thru the last couple of pages and you'll see a few hotels that are frequently recommended. The aerobus stops at Universitad and Placa Catalunya which is where these hotels are located.  Go to booking.com and narrow your search to that area, then see which of these hotels meets your needs for price and amenities.  

We stayed at Hotel Lleo. IIRC a taxi to the port was close to $20.

As it has been said, it is quite uncommon to find a hotel in Europe with airport transfer. Users usually get a taxi.

 

You will not find any problem to take a taxi nor in the airport, nor in the hotel. There are taxi queues in the airport, and for hotel it is very common to ask to deskman for a taxi. 

 

Providing Pl Catalunya >> Airport, taxi price should not be over 30 euro in weekdays, 35 in weekends.

 

Cheaper options to taxi:

 

- Aerobus. There's one aerobus departing Pl Catalunya to airport, both terminals. Cost is 6,75 and it makes just two intermediate stops.

If your hotel is near those stations, it can be the easiest transport (even easier tha a taxi)

If your hotel isn't near those stations I would think in other options

 

- Metro (underground)

Line 9S arrives to the airport, both terminals. 

Pl Catalunya >> Airport takes around 45 minutes. They are standard underground lines. This is, you can change from one line to other (you will need one change for sure), stations every 800-1000 m in city centre...

Anybody who uses underground in his homecity should not have any problem to ride in Barcelona underground.

Rodalies (commuter)

Barcelona commuter network has a station in Airport Terminal 2 (not in terminal 1). Station is joined to underground. Both tracks are really near. M if underground, R if commuter.

All trains go in just one direction and, in just four stops and 22 minutes you will arrive to Ps. Gracia in city centre. It is cheaper than metro and maybe faster than a taxi. In Ps.Gracia (or the station before, Sants) you can shift to metro.

Conversely, from Barcelona to the airport, enough to follow destination "aeroport". Loudspeakers and all information will be in English too (and those trains are really easy to find.... those ones with people with big baggages).

 

Underground and Commuter tickets are sold in machines. All of them accept cards 

 

Pay attention, Visa and Mastercard will be accepted everywhere. AE and DC usually aren't so welcome.
