Okay this is a dumb thing I found last night. Maybe it’s their way of separating the smokers from everyone else. But the only way you can walk from 17 aft to mid, is to go through the gym. Last night I went up and over. Today I’m saying forget that.

Like NCL you have two pools in the middle of lido but I think this first one is smaller.

This is supposed to be a fountain. A colorful fountain at night. Last night it wasn’t on. Im guessing because of the movies. Maybe at some point they’ll turn it on but right now it’s a waste of space.

Couple observations: I’m a LONG time elite level Princess cruiser and you’re getting some celebrity status for a first timer!

 

Sparkling wine and strawberries are usually for higher cabin categories than balcony. Congrats.

 

Towel animals have been a thing of the past for a while. Occasionally you may have Stewart who will do one. Most often not in my experience.

 

Robe on day one can be hit or miss. Mine often shows up around day 3. Never had slippers unless in a suite.

 

Enjoy the perks. My guess is the veteran status!

I miss Jewel class NCL pool decks. The newer NCL ships have like one postage stamp pool on this chaotic lido, it's a bummer.  I wonder why the second pool is so small on Royal class.... Grand class ships had bigger pools. But i am stoked about checking out The Retreat next week... adults only and bigger pool and all

Sometimes, no. We don't do shows. So it's food/drinks/pool/drinks/nap/food/drinks for us. And if it's an island we've been to before it's pool/drinks.
