Travel insurance suggestions

We are exploring travel insurance, any suggestions? Allianz was recommended, any experience using this company?

We use a broker named Steve.  I'd post the name but I don't know that this board allows us to post any websites.

I just dealt with Allianz on an accident (broken wrist) that happened Sept 30th. They were excellent to work with and quickly got me home as I chose to not have surgery in Canada. It was a holiday weekend in Canada so I was impressed with how quick everything went (called Sunday, had flights coming home Tuesday and it was not an emergency situation).

 

I highly recommend Allianz! I can't say enough nice things about them. They approved of a medical escort (paramedic) to fly home with me and the company they hired was exceptional.

 

They quickly reimbursed me for the bills I submitted also. They paid the hospital (ER visits) directly. Thankfully Canada did not require I pay that at time of service.
